Chinese Epigraphic Material

The “Giant Book” took more than three years to produce, from April 2011 to May 2014. The “Compilation of Chinese Inscriptions in Singapore 1819-1911” was commissioned by Professor Koh Yuan Tai of the University of Singapore, and is a record of the early “Chinese Inscriptions” in Singapore, recording inscriptions on temples and ancient buildings in Singapore between 1819 and 1911. The inscriptions were preserved in temples and ancient buildings in Singapore between 1819 and 1911. Since there are many characters on the inscriptions that are not found in today’s computers, our main task was to “create the characters” by mimicking the characters on the inscriptions to create the characters. I thought it was a piece of cake, but it was really a huge project and took a lot of time and effort.
